The patient
work of roots.

Green Origines is a Cameroonian company developing responsible projects at the intersection of land, ecology, agriculture, culture, tourism and local development — held to a long-term vision that reconciles economic performance with positive contribution.

Forested landscape from above — a continent observed
01 — Presentation

A company built between
two continents.

Green Origines SAS was created to identify, structure, manage and valorise land and spaces in service of agricultural, ecological, social and cultural projects.

Operating between Cameroon and Switzerland, we hold a portfolio of land-based initiatives whose ambitions are deliberately patient: to reconcile economic performance with a positive contribution to society and the environment, season after season.

02 — Vision

A reference for responsible
land development in Africa.

To become a reference company in responsible land development and sustainable project structuring across Cameroon and the broader African continent — a partner of trust for institutions, foundations, communities and impact investors who think in decades.

Hands holding soil — stewardship
03 — Mission

From land and
local resources to
sustainable projects.

Our mission is to transform land and local resources into sustainable projects that generate economic, social, environmental and cultural value.

We hold land in stewardship — not in speculation. We support communities — not extract from them. And we structure each project so that the value it creates remains anchored in the place that produced it.

04 — Core values

Nine convictions,
held in plain language.

Values are easy to write down and harder to live by. These are the ones we test ourselves against, project after project — the criteria we use to decide what we will and will not do.

  1. 01

    Sustainability

Decisions weighed in seasons and generations, not quarters.

  2. 02

    Responsibility

Every parcel of land carries a duty to the people and ecosystems it touches.

  3. 03

    Local impact

Value created on the ground stays close to the ground.

  4. 04

    Environmental preservation

Soil, water and forest protected as the working capital of the future.

  5. 05

    Cultural transmission

Indigenous knowledge treated as expertise — and paid as such.

  6. 06

    Community empowerment

Training, structures and ownership pathways for those who live the work.

  7. 07

    Innovation

PropTech, agronomy and modern finance brought to old questions.

  8. 08

    Partnership

Strong, transparent, structured collaboration as a discipline.

  9. 09

    Long-term value creation

Patience as a strategy — capital that compounds, not extracts.

05 — Founder & President

Wesleg Nanse

Cameroonian serial entrepreneur based in Switzerland.

Wesleg Nanse founded Green Origines as the long-form continuation of a career spent at the intersection of African opportunity and European structure. He is involved in high-impact projects between the two continents — particularly in real estate, PropTech, digital transformation, media, sustainable development and project structuring.

Green Origines is, in his own framing, a deliberate refusal of two clichés: the company is neither an offshore land-grab nor an under-funded NGO. It is a structured, impact-oriented operator that takes the long view.
