— Issue 05 — Impact

Measured in seasons,
not quarters.

Green Origines is not only a land company. It is an impact company that uses land as its instrument. We hold ourselves to four dimensions of value — social, environmental, cultural and economic — and we publish the indicators we measure.

01 — The frame

Numbers we
are aiming at.

Targets are public commitments, not aspirations. The figures below are what we plan to deliver and disclose as the work matures.

0
hectares targeted for responsible development
0
people to be trained in ecology, agriculture & hospitality
0
communities Green Origines aims to engage with
0
structuring projects across four pillars
02 — Four dimensions

Value is plural.

Each project is assessed against the same four dimensions. None substitutes for the others — economic returns do not redeem ecological harm, and cultural value cannot replace a fair wage.

Social

Communities supported, livelihoods structured.

Green Origines contributes to local development through training, job creation, project support and community-based initiatives. Each project is required to articulate, in advance, who benefits, how, and on what timeline.

Environmental

Ecosystems preserved, soils renewed.

We promote ecosystem preservation, sustainable practices, agroecology and responsible land use. Baselines are measured before activity begins, and progress is monitored against them across the lifetime of the project.

Cultural

Knowledge carried forward.

Green Origines supports the promotion of local cultures, traditional knowledge, heritage and cultural tourism — treating indigenous expertise as expertise, and ensuring its transmission to the next generation.

Economic

Long-term value, anchored locally.

We develop projects capable of generating local economic opportunities, attracting patient capital and creating long-term value — held close to the ground that produced it.

03 — Indicators

What we will
publish.

As projects scale, the indicators below will be reported annually — disaggregated by project, region and partner.

  1. i.

    Hectares developed responsibly

Land brought into structured stewardship — under management, lease or partnership.

  2. ii.

    Projects supported

Initiatives we have helped design, structure or operate — in concept, pilot or live phase.

  3. iii.

    Local jobs created

Direct and indirect employment generated by Green Origines projects, with local sourcing where possible.

  4. iv.

    People trained

Project holders, agricultural workers, hospitality teams and youth equipped with new skills.

  5. v.

    Partners involved

Foundations, NGOs, investors, institutions and experts engaged in our work.

  6. vi.

    Communities impacted

Villages, cooperatives and neighbourhoods whose lives are shaped by our presence.

  7. vii.
